UK EV INSIGHTS

Terms of sale

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy The Smart Buyer’s Guide to Used EVs in the UK and The Buyer’s Toolkit (together, “the Products”) from UK EV Insights (“we”, “us”).

1. What you are buying

Two digital PDF files, delivered by download after payment: an A4 guide and a printable toolkit. Nothing is posted to you.

2. Checkout and payment

Payment is taken by Hotmart, which acts as our payment processor and checkout provider. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, in the currency shown. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.

3. Your licence

You may keep the Products, read them on your own devices and print the toolkit sheets for your own use. You may not copy, resell, share, upload or distribute the Products or any part of them to others.

4. General information only

The Products are general information for buyers in the United Kingdom. They are not legal, financial, mechanical or engineering advice and do not replace an inspection of the car you are buying. Prices, tax rates, tariffs, warranty terms and rules change, and we cannot guarantee that every figure is current or applies to your circumstances. The Products tell you which details to confirm with the official source. You are responsible for your own purchase decisions and for checking the details that matter to you before you buy.

5. Independence

We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any vehicle manufacturer, dealer, charging network, finance provider or energy supplier. All brand and model names are trademarks of their owners and are used for identification only.

6. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that arise from decisions you make on the basis of the Products, including the purchase, sale or financing of a vehicle.

7. Refunds and your rights

Our refund policy is on the refunds page. It is in addition to your statutory rights.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and the Products from time to time. The terms in force when you buy apply to your purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
